Title: Festives, are like potato chips which fills you up when you're bored

Once a year, we celebrate a little something called Chinese New Year.(it is really boring doing it year after year, especially when the 'hongbao' money is reducing), Chinese New Year, besides the company of my fellow relatives, the goodies are an awesome treat. But seriously, thinking about it carefully, once every year, we get into this "please hurry" mode to get ready for this festive, or an event, as my mum puts utmost thought into preparing the house for its guests. Its also a time of fun, gossip and debauchery. (the last word was not relevant.)

Its so stupid how every year, there would be this zodiac method to see what are your lucky numbers are. ie) lucky number for the year of the monkey: 6, 8, 9, 14, 23. And, as a typical singaporean, they would got buy the lottery with these 'lucky numbers'. Think about it, IF say, a few thousands of people were born in the year of the monkey, and that the 'lucky numbers' would bring you luck, how much money is the singapore pools going to lose, not forgetting there are 11 other zodiacs. (singapore pools, bankruptcy's coming your way)

oh gosh, i guess the steamboat's kicking in. Cannot think of anymore to write, i shall report the daily stupidity of CNY.
