Title: Think About It.

If time really stood still, would we actually be moving?

Ponder.

Title:
ROCKETCRASHTEST AT THE MOVIES;

NICK AND NORAH'S INFINITE PLAYLIST.

Went to watch Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist ( Abbrev.'NANIP') couple of days ago.
As the title suggests or the word 'playlist' suggests, it definitely is related to music in some way or another. Again, another familiar face, the lead actor Michael Cera whose appearances in the movies 'SuperBad' and of course 'Juno' has left me with a rather deep impression. ( and by deep i mean bad)

In Juno, which was a show about teen pregnancy, Michael Cera did not have a adequate opportunity to showcase as compared to his Co-star Ellen Page. Juno was just bad. Rattling on and on, just like a spoilt recorder going on about sex education.

Back to 'NANIP'. It was a movie about love, friendship, music; all the ingredients needed to make a typical teen movie. As the movie began, a familiar aura of Juno crept the cinema, the setting, the background layout, the atmosphere.....JUNO JUNO JUNO. 'NANIP' might as well be a silent film.

Suprisingly, it wasnt, the atmosphere and layout definitely mirrors Juno, but the storyline and detail was rather mature and appealing. It did not felt to me like another teen movie, but a whole different level. I would not say that 'NANIP' is very awesome, but it was good, two thumbs up.

Verdict: 3.5/5
