Movies: Departures/Detroit Metal City

Departures, caught it last week.
Great film, great narrations.
awesome emotions, some parts tickle
watching it is like learning a lesson.
Great Flick.

Rating: 41/2/5 (Hit)

DMC: Where Death Metal Is The New Pop.

DMC the movie stays in flavour with the manga of the same title.

Negishi Soichi, a gentle/sort of feminine guy wanted to have a career as a pop musician,
but was dragged unwillingly into a band which is totally the opposite of his mild character.

The band DMC, Detroit Metal City, with its "unique" genre of death metal,
see how Negishi gets into hilarious ordeals while having a double identity,
and his passion for music.

The manga series, also recommended to read.

The show is kickass, with epic characters such as the manager from hell,
who always treats the members of DMC especially the main character in a slavish way, awesomely funny,
when she swears in english, and putting out her cigarette butt on someone else.

The fans of the DMC are EPIC-LY hardcore,
treating Krauser (who is Negishi's alter ego) like a God.
Whatever he does, its like something Godly, and is justified for.

The song sang by DMC 'Satsugai' 殺 害, is pretty good.
Epicly insane, kickass film.
