Title: My independence seems to vanish in the haze.

Back from Kuantan DCMD study trip on thursday.
It was pretty alright, except for the environment.
Kuantan is in M'sia, if you're wondering.

Met most of the DCMD people. Pretty awesome bunch.
But, the timetable is OMFG!@#$%
Anyway one more week till school reopens.
Amen, anyone?

Class 57 chalet next week, woots!
The next 6 week break is next year if im not wrong. Dreadful.

Till next time.

Title:(not) part of your brain-wash cult.

alright, been rather lazy to input even the slightest words here.
apologies to whoever who views it.
same old post for 2 weeks.
hell yes!

anyway, been to HongKong/Macau/ Zhuhai 2 weeks ago.
well it was an alright trip, with HK being the best out of the three places I've been.
Macau was simply scorching. Imagine 12-2pm in SG heat x2
The brightness of the Sun was simply "Boomz"
If the light was a brand, it was Osram.

Food was great in HK, dimsum, milk tea, beancurd are must-haves over there.
Macau and their Portuguese egg tarts.
and Zhuhai....well let's just say it's typical China.

Back to SG.
Woohoo, finally stopped working.
left the horridscamhole place.
relieved.

Met Tobes in the afternoon went down to bugis.
got some stuff and went to city hall.
Got home, bathed and went out to meet up with Qiz.
It has been awhile.
Caught 'Fame' and went on for dinner,
thanks dude for the treat.
"chow ow sai"

Fame was a pretty alright film, loads of dancing and singing.
Human emotions on high, understanding the pursuit of Fame comes with its problems.
Favourite scene was the part where everyone was in the canteen
breaking out into instruments, dance, singing, and making it sound like an ensemble.

I guess its a 3.5/5 for me.

Anyway in other news, there are loads of stuff im hooked on.
(in random order):

1) Glee

2) FlashFoward

3) Heroes Season 4.

4) The Big Bang Theory Season 3

5) (500) Days of Summer, Epic Win. (watched it twice) out in cinemas Oct 6.

6) (500) Days of Summer Soundtrack.

7) Hall and Oates's Songs

8) Watching old episodes of 'Everybody Hates Chris'

9) Awaiting Saw 6 woots! ( Saw 7 next year in 3-D)

10) Awaiting Mitch Albom's new book 'Have A Little Faith"

11) Random watching of Jap Dramas.

12) Random jogging routes. (e.g Paya Lebar to Bishan and back.)

(500) Days of Summer is Great!
On the scale of 1-10
1 being not appealing 10 being spectacular.
its a 15.

Till next time.

Title: Hickory Dickory Dock.

Work has been mind-blowing.
Sales is tough, like steel-tough, rock-tough, Chuck Norris-tough.
You get the drift.

After work, went home to bathe,
and head to downtown east to meet up with the 4 Peace peeps at the chalet.
(Anson, Hendry, Ming Hong, Dion, Annabelle, Jason, Yizan)

The rest turning up for the BBQ tmr.
Sadly i can't join in, going away to HongKong till Sunday.

Super abrupt, leaving for the airport in 3 hours time.
Hopes that HongKong has much to offer...
(and i dont mean acid-splashing and random flu viruses)

Till then, enjoy.

Title: You Want To Captain The Titanic Too?

Sentosa with the Class 57 peeps yesterday.
Char-grilled, scorched and burnt along with hideous tan lines.
It was pretty fun, and I got a small stone up the sole of my foot while playing soccer.

On another note, Wave Run this weekend, Sunday i think.
I think im gonna get myself screwed, oh well.
we'll see how it goes.

New American Tv Series 'Glee' starts TODAY in the US.

The pilot episode of the show was shown after American Idol, on May 19.
Watched the Pilot episode and i thought it was pretty good.

Glee is a musical comedy which revolves around a high school 'Glee Club'(show choir)
Do not mistake it for High School Musical, as they do not break out into songs out of a sudden.
The show aside from its focus on music, also focuses on the human emotions.

Check Glee out, i think it's gonna be a great show.

P.S:
Im gonna update whenever i can i guess,
lack the drive to type about stuff. haha
probably try to type something once a week?

peace! homedogs!

Title: 4 months of great technicolor.

(LENGTHY POST but its not a eulogy)

It's been a great while.
Assignments cleared and Common Foundation ended.
Finally the hectic schedule is over.

but that also means we're going to move on to our respective courses.

Backtracking.......

It all started with orientation, where no one knows no one.
Posted to a group called ModSquad.
thought it was just an orientation group, but turns out to be my class for Common Foundation.
which is now called Class 57.

Class 57 was paired with Class 58.

The two classes did most modules together;

Foundation Design Studio (FDS)
Visual Arts Studio (VAS)
Basic Drawing Class (BDC)
Graphic Communications (GC)
History and Theory of Ideas (HTI)

What we went through in Common Foundation could not be described by mere words.
It was a torture, a living hell and sleep deprivation at its max.

Here is COMMON FOUNDATION IN A NUTSHELL
(the best and worst 4 months of my life)

The many hellloads of assignments that we've d
one

The many nights we did not get to sleep.

The amount of money spend on materials.

The time we take to travel back and fro to get our m
aterials.

The hectic submission weeks.

The late-nights at T3A32.

The friendships we made.

The jokes that were said.

The stupidity that was displayed.

The movies watched on our laptops.

The times when we were delusional.

The mess we made at T3A32.

The lecturers who cared about tortured us.

The closer bond we had during the last few weeks.

The wide diversity of people I met in Class 57 and 58.

Seriously, im gonna miss everyone in class 57.
everyone's silly antics is also something i would miss.
The SAW frenzy, The American Pie frenzy, haha.
even though 4 months is a short period of time,
it really seemed like we've all known one another for ages.
we slogged our guts out together,
we made it all through together,
and made the T3A32 studio our second home.

Friends, I sincerely thank you all for this 4 months.
Its been great fun and pleasure knowing all o
f you.
hope we would all get together sometime.

Class 57 especially, you guys have been a great class.

It was fun while it lasted.

To the next step!

and you'd all be missed.

p.s:
xinyi, thank you for the trick. haha.

Boa Hancock for the win.

(part of) Class 57

Bruno?!?!
